Take a wine tour to the Medoc from Bordeaux!
Drive through the mythical appellations which established the reputation of Bordeaux wines. The specific terroir of the left bank produces powerful red wines. During this morning tour of the Medoc you'll enjoy visits to one wonderful chateau!
9.00am: Depart Bordeaux & drive through the famous “Chateaux Route” of the Medoc. Your local expert guide will share lots of interesting information about the Bordeaux & Medoc wine regions as you go.
10.00am: Your tour starts with a warm welcome in a beautiful Medoc winery steeped in history. Walk through the vineyards, tour the vat room and visit the chateau cellar. You'll receive a fascinating introduction to the wine making process, all the way from the vine to the bottle. Your tour will finish with a wine tasting paired with an aperitive platter made of french delicacies (includes fresh bread, cheese, cured meat, and dark chocolate).
11.15am: Stop in front of the most famous chateau of Medoc : Château Margaux . Enjoy the time to take some pictures while your guide will give you some explanations about this chateau.
12.30pm : Back in Bordeaux
