The program in detail

Set off with your trusty local guide to explore the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Provence!

The tour starts in the Alpilles mountain range. Located on a rocky spur overlooking the valley, the medieval village of Les Baux de Provence will lead you to an unforgettable journey into the past.

From there you will be driven on to the Pont du Gard, the best preserved remains of a Roman aqueduct in the world, and which supplied water to the city of Nîmes (museum's entrance not included).

Continue on through Provence driving along the docks between the Rhône River and the medieval walls of Avignon as you make your entry to the majestic "City of the Popes".

As you tour Avignon you'll see the Saint-Benezet Bridge, famous for the children's song “Sur le Pont d'Avignon”, and see the Popes' Palace which is the largest gothic-style palace in Europe (entrance tickets not included).

No tour of Provence is complete without a wine tasting! Discover the wines of the Rhône River Valley in the famous winemaking village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape who's castle dominates the vineyards. Visit a famous winery and taste amazing wines.

Free time for lunch (not included) on your own during the day.
