Private shore excursion to the lavender fields of Provence
Meet your private guide at 8am and climb aboard your private minivan for an incredible day exploring the lavender fields of Provence! This tour is available for private groups of 2 to 8 people and our luxury minivan will ensure you enjoy a comfortable day exploring Provence!
Leaving Marseille you will head towards the Valensole plateau and as you get closer you will start to pass along picturesque small roads which wind amongst the lavender fields.
Throughout the excursion your guide will share his wealth of knowledge with you and make various stops to ensure you see the views of lavender at their best.
A special experience awaits you when you meet a local lavender producer who will share his passion for lavender and lavandin with you! You will learn everything about the unique culture of lavender, how it is distilled into lavender oil and the various products that are made from it.
For lunch, make the most of some free-time in the lovely and authentic village of Valensole (lunch not included). Your guide will be happy to make some recommendations.
After seeing the best sights and discovering all there is to know about lavender, your guide will drive you back in the comfort of your private minivan to Marseille cruise terminal for 4pm.
