The program in detail

Take an afternoon wine tasting tour of the Medoc region of Bordeaux and discover its prestigious wines.

Our small group wine tour will take you along the famous “Chateau Route” of the Medoc Region, passing by mythical appellations such as Margaux, Saint-Julien and Pauillac. During the course of one memorable afternoon you will visit an 1855 Classified Growth chateau for a tour, cellar visit and wine tasting.

2.00pm: Depart Bordeaux & drive through the “Chateau Route” of the Medoc. Your local expert guide will share lots of interesting informations about the Bordeaux & Medoc wine regions as you go.

3.00pm: Visit a Great Classified Growth estate (Chateau Château Marquis de Terme, or Chateau Dauzac…). Visit the vineyards, the vat room and tour the cellars of one of the most prestigious chateaux in Bordeaux. Enjoy some explanations about their wine making process from the vine to the bottle. Finish the visit by a tasting of the estate’s wines while enjoying an aperitif of French delicacies (cheese, fresh bread, chocolate).

Your tour will include a Bordeaux wine tasting class where you can become a wine expert in a short time. “Intense colour, woody aromas, tannic taste… “ Ouch!! What does it mean? Do not fear. You will learn how to do a proper wine tasting and teach your nose to identify the wines’ aromas. We will give you our tips and tricks to taste wine like a pro!

4.20pm: Your guide will take you on a van tour of the Médoc's finest châteaux, with a stop in front of Château Margaux. At the end of the tour, you'll stop by the vineyards to enjoy a glass of white wine served by your guide.

6.30 pm: Back to Bordeaux
