The program in detail

Your day starts at 9am when you meet your friendly tour guide in Aix-en-Provence.

Climb aboard our minibus and set off for the scenic drive to the landscapes of Sainte-Victoire Mountain. See the Provence of the famous painter Cézanne who found inspiration in this beautiful scenery.

The first part of the day will be spent visiting two Provence vineyards for tours and wine tastings. Both of these estates have been chosen by your expert guide for their authenticity and charm.

Taste wonderful full-bodied reds with excellent structure (typical grape varieties used are Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Cabernet-Sauvignon), and subtle, elegant rosés.

Take a stroll into the Provence vineyards and admire the views, visit the barrel cellars and vat rooms and learn about Côtes de Provence wine.

Free time for a snack (not included) in Aix en Provence.

Your afternoon is dedicated to exploring the highlights of the Luberon. The first village you will visit is Lourmarin, known as one of "the most beautiful villages in France" and famous for its Renaissance castle. Enjoy some free time exploring the village.

After Lourmarin, join your guide for a picturesque drive through Bonnieux. This Luberon village is dominated by its church located at 425 metres above sea level and is passed by the Combe of Lourmarin, a unique road through the Luberon. What a feast for the eyes!

Arriving in Roussillon have your camera at the ready to capture the natural beauty of the hilltop village and the famous red, brown and orange shades of its ochre cliffs.

The last village of the afternoon is Gordes. This beautiful village remains true to its medieval past with buildings made entirely of the local stones called ‘lauze’.

Your day exploring the vineyards and villages of Provence will end with the drive back to Aix-en-Provence where you will arrive at 7.30pm.
